Bolognese
Garlic Baguettes
Rich slow-cooked beef bolognese loaded into crispy garlic baguettes and finished with melted cheese. One batch makes four servings — batch cook on a Sunday and you’re set for the week.
Comfort Food
Finely dice the celery, carrot and onion.
Add the diced veg along with the beef mince, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic paste, dried oregano, salt, pepper and beef stock cube to your slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 6 hours.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce at the end. You now have 4 servings of bolognese.
Cut the garlic baguette lengthways down the centre, then in half. Air fry at 180°C for 3 minutes.
Load ¼ of the bolognese mix into the baguette and top with grated cheese.
Air fry for a further 4 minutes at 200°C until the cheese is melted and the baguette is golden. Serve immediately.
